Overview

This 1953 Indian Chief took 30 years of one man’s passion to assemble. In 1964 the owner purchased the frame and motor cases. Starting a bike restoration with so few pieces seemed daunting. However, what he decided to do is incredible! He spent 30 years researching, locating, and obtaining New Old Stock parts to complete the restoration of this 1953 Indian Chief.

A bike can be restored many times, but it can only be considered new one time. This bike is the closest that can ever be obtained to factory new. It has been completely restored and assembled by the owner and it is ready to ride! He unwrapped parts from original factory wrapping, cleaned them up and installed them on this one-of-a-kind motorcycle.

This bike is probably the only New Old Stock 1953 Indian Chief in the world! This truly unique 1953 Indian Chief has not been started. When the bike is sold the new owner will be given the option to have us start this New Old Stock Bike, or keep it as a showpiece.

If you are looking for that unique Chief for your collection, and the provenance of a professional restoration, look no further. This bike has been featured in numerous publications where Bob Stark spoke about the difficulty of finding the NOS parts, and his passion towards completing this one-of-a-kind motorcycle.
